DEMOCRACY DAY

A new administration,
beginning of another long night, expectations, skyscraper high, equally for disappointment the time could be nigh.
A general so ruthless like a maned young lion, so determined, with searing passion.
They said we are sick BUHARI is the panacea, our Free fall at its peak the general would catch us,they opined.
Could this be a conundrum, I laughed at them, for I beamed with incomparable wisdom, which I housed like a totem.
The change won't be televised, you will not be able to stay home, you will not plug in, for your 'tanks' would all be 'fuel-less'.
Though,we will see it live, probably in all 'Ds' no need to peep,no need to hurry, they made life difficult in a flurry.
"we will bleed to death?" They wondered, "could we recover our long lost health" They muttered.
I could see fear all over them, like grenade sights, so I closed my window, in full insight.
It's the sunset,a wind of change beginning of a dark night, I hope they'll prepare their mind-set for the change won't be televised we'll all see it live.
